The short distance from Bali and the fact that all surf camps are closed from November until March make this trip special. We just have to wait for a swell to hit in late season and cruise there over night to surf it only with a handful of other people! Pure pleasure at a world-class spot! We recommend a 3-5 day trip to G-Land.

This is another area of Indonesia that has been almost forgotten about since its appearance in several surf movies in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Waves like ‘Apocalypse’ and ‘One Palm Point’ offer some of the longest, hollowest and heaviest barrels in the world. But don’t worry - there are also heaps of other friendlier waves around here! This is a beautiful area featuring pristine jungle style islands and perhaps the most famous volcanic remains in the world - Krakatau or as it is called outside of Indonesia, Krakatoa! Do yourself a favour and read up on the fascinating history of this volcanic island.

This route takes in the southern coast of Sumatra and several of its outlying islands before passing through lush West Java. Many waves exist here including Indonesia’s longest and most consistent left point. This is still a relatively unexplored area especially the island of Enggano. Rumours exist of hidden world-class gems… Go on and find out if they are true!
